AGILENOMICS™ LESSONS SHOWCASED AT THE PMI-DVC PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY PRESENTATION

Our two free lessons were part of an online presentation on Nov 9th, 2020.

On Nov. 9th, 2020, John Margetis was the keynote speaker at the PMI Delaware Valley Chapter Personal Development Day (PDD) event, with 170 virtual attendees. The topic of the presentation was “Examining many Agile Languages with a Similar Goal”. As part of the presentation, the future of Project Management in an Agile world was introduced.

“…AS FOR WHAT I’M GOING TO DO DIFFERENTLY…. FOCUSING ON BEING A “THINKER” AND COMING MORE FROM THE VALUE SIDE…”

(D.J.)

This became an opportunity to showcase the two free lessons from our course “Value-Side Thinking and Economic Decision Making.” During the four-hour presentation, we also made references to our “Human Resources as a Facilitator of Agility” course, as well as our “Revisiting the PMO in an Agile World” course. The audience consisted of Project Management professionals, so these topics resonated. We have posted one of the feedback quotes above, as an indication of the impact that this presentation had in stimulating the attendees to think in a different way.

While the event itself also focused on specific topics of interest that are currently important to the PMI community, the introduction of our AGILENOMICS™ brand of training was both relevant and timely.

The concepts were well-received, the questions submitted by the attendees indicated a community of professionals that is both eager and ready to adopt and introduce Value-Side Thinking practices in their day to day reality. We look forward to seeing many of these PMI-DVC attendees register for our classes.

OUR SECOND AGILENOMICS™ ONLINE COURSE IS LAUNCHED IN BETA, ACTIVE USER FEEDBACK IS IN PROGRESS

On November 5th, 2020 we launched the BETA version of our AGILENOMICS™ course “Human Resources as a Facilitator of Agility”. This course comes with the AGN-HR credential, and it is an attempt to shed light on untapped opportunities that exist to leverage Human Resources as a facilitator that can help accelerate Agile Mindset Transformation. We are aiming to wrap up this phase and proceed to general launch by the end of November.

The “Human Resources as a Facilitator of Agility” course will consist of four lessons:

  1. Human Resources and the Agile Mindset
  2. Facilitating Agile Transformations via Annual Goals and Objectives
  3. FacilitatingLeadershipMindsetTransformation via Employee Engagement
  4. Facilitating Enterprise Mindset Onboarding Governance

Human Resources is the “Sleeping Giant” of Agile Transformations, in our opinion. The function one that by its own nature is committed to neutrality and unbiased trust. These are also the exact characteristics of an ideal Agile facilitator. Leveraging this underutilized potential is one of the ways to bridge the gaps that exist between the “current state” of many Corporations, and a future state that brings them closer to “Utopian Agility”.

Also worth mentioning is that we have begun work on transforming our 11 lessons of “Revisiting the PMO in an Agile World” into an online course experience. We anticipate this effort to last through late January. The latest progress updates will be posted on this link: https://agilenomics.net/online-courses/

From the initial reactions that we observed at the PMI-DVC Personal Development Day event on November 9th, it is clear that there is a lot of anticipation and enthusiasm in the market for material that will help Project Management Professionals navigate their career in an Agile Facilitation path.

By expanding the opportunity for Agile Facilitation to the Human Resources and Project Management Functions, it is clear that AGILENOMICS™ brand courses are at the cutting edge of industry training and consulting. We look forward to seeing how our students implement our suggestions in their enterprises.

At Chrysinou Consulting, LLC, our objectives remain focused. We desire to innovate. We desire to disrupt legacy thinking with practical examples and common-sense solutions. Our motto “Practicality. Common-Sense. Bottom Line Agile.” is inspired by our core beliefs.
